A truly hidden gem are the Kirschstein tracks;a meanwhile disbanded collective located in the western part of ,whose only release on an obscure american label is all but unavailable;the five eerily post-kraftwerkish pieces on Gespensterland are a trouvaille if I ever saw one.
So much for the music;the heavy duty cover and the proficiently manufactured vinyl add further to the value of this release,although the latter has to spend its days in plain paper sleeves-an inane neglect.
The cover artwork on the other hand is a major achievement,since it creates and enhances that atmosphere of uncanny evanescence the music so effortlessly emanates.
One of last year's most important,astounding and,in its genuine sense,fascinating releases.
