Around 2017 you start seeing kr in the deadwax for mastering. These are the most likely the ones you will get if you buy new (online or record store). It’s actually a pretty nice mastering (probably digital) but the problem is the pressing. I’ve tried up to 6 copies from Amazon and still haven’t found a decent one. Either dishwarped or had pops or artifacts (non fill) or all of the above. About to give up and look for an older pressing.

Unsure where this was flatly pressed, but the cut by Kreiger at SST is fairly quiet and pleasingly dynamic with a vastly wide soundstage. Exceptional bang for the buck for a great sounding KOB!
