Still bumps to this day after just recently hearing Jamz Supernova playing this on the radio. I playing “Block Party” in a club back in 2000 (DJ grandad) and there was nothing like it at the time so it sounded out of place but ended up becoming huge on the international scene. A fantastic slice of early African inspired house music. Perfect if you want to inject a bit of feel good carnival spirit into your dj set with the big samba type percussion. This was a big Louie vega record and may still be. Enjoy!
