Edited 9 months agoToss in an other “full of surface noise” review. It’s really prevalent on LP 1 even after a VPI cleaning. What a shame of a pressing.
-
Nothing but surface noise on the right channel throughout all parts on my copy. Looks like someone messed up the QA big time.
-
so disappointed with this nothing by scuff noises from the right channel throughout part 2 is fine but honestly what kind of quality checking is being done here?
using a brand new AT-VMN95ML stylus...
Wouldn't recommend just get it on cd -
Great sounding record, cool color, incredible remix/remaster has brought the album back into my regular listening rotation. Highly recommended for fans of progressive rock/metal or epic sci-fi concept albums!

Unlike the previous comment, I've found little to no surface noise. There was a small amount upon first listen, but after cleaning the album has been almost silent and very enjoyable.
