Notes

RSD 2022 Drop 2 release

Track B3 is a version unique to this release. It features an extended outro (found on the instrumental version of the song on Rings Around The World (20th Anniversary Edition, Pt. 2 Remaster)) which ends on a locked groove. It is necessary to manually lift the tonearm beyond this to hear track B4.
Track B4 is an untitled track taken from the menu music on the original DVD release of the Rings Around The World album. It can also be found at 24m 05s on track 19 ('Menu Music Medley') of Rings Around The World (20th Anniversary Edition, Pt. 2 Remaster).

Manufactured In Sweden.

Nice package and worth 18 quid. For a printed inner this one is notably high quality. I still prefer a poly lined mind you. I worried prior to first listen because despite the colour i could see stitching in the grooves. Theres also some arm sway on side 2. Luckily i cant detect any audible distortions or surface noise bar a couple clicks. The actual mastering is wonderful, retaining the quality of the main albums recent reissue on 2Lp and CD.
Overall happy but would still like record pressings to be like they once were!!

This sounds great on vinyl. Then again, the music always sounded great anyway. Rings Aroundthe World + Brawd Bach = some of this band's finest work (along with Mwng, of course... get the 3xLP of that one if you can). This a physically attractive package, with the typically goofy SFA artwork and the bright yellow vinyl. Sounds great on my system, as I knew it would!

First got into SFA with Rings Around the World, and bought the CD so was never exposed to Edam Anchorman. But bloody heck, how did that not make the cut?! So great! And this record was worth the £ for that one alone.

To be more specific on the unlisted track, it’s the final 2m 10s of the Menu Music Medley track found on Super Furry Animals - Rings Around The World (20th Anniversary Edition, Pt. 2 Remaster)

Amazing that these were leftovers. If this were just a separate Furries album it would be one of their best.

I’m enough of a Super Furries fan to already have the 12”s from RATW (and thus most of these songs on vinyl), but this is nonetheless a fantastic listen in its own right and just about any of these songs would’ve been a highlight of the actual album.

Is track B4 the menu music from the original DVD edition of the album? No longer have a copy so can't check but know that the 2021 3CD version also included a medley of it as a hidden track so thought it might be.
