This pressing sounds AMAZING! Zero noise and probably one of the bests of my entire collection

My copy skips so bad at the start of each side, ruining More, More, More and Come Into My World - unacceptable. I am using a microline stylus with everything set right. Very disappointing. Will have to figure out how to wet clean to try to salvage this

This disc sounds amazing. The copy I got is flat as a pancake. Zero tracking issues and clear as a bell. Very happy with this release.

Decided to finally get this album on vinyl, now that this recent pressing is more accessible. It appears to have the same matrix numbers as the previous pressings, did it use the same plates? Perhaps.

The pressing was very quiet, other than the occasional tick in quiet sections. The sound quality is comfortably above average, but not entirely top tier in my opinion. Could also be qualities of the era the album was produced in. The pressing definitely favours the bass, bass is tight and fans of this will be very pleased.

After revisting this album 20+ years later it honestly leaves me with the opinion that most (strictly) pop female artists have just been remaking this sound since.

Additionally my copy exhibited no playback issues (skips) that have been previously reported. The press is very bass heavy, it could even be an issue of speakers being too close to a turntable not isolated properly, and or with an end of life stylus.

Sounds great! Only a bit of noise between songs. No skips on my set up with the bass totally bumpin. Makes me wonder what the people who experience so many skips are using for a turntable.

Not used to the mix of Come Into My World, different than what I’m familiar with!

my record skips. I had the same problem with the first white fever pressing I got. sadly its happening with the black one as well now. this one is even worse

Mastering is great, but my record skips on A1 and B1 too. Tried too clean it myself, but no help.

My copy of this vinyl had a case with the first track when the sound jumps and stretches((( so sad(

Splendid sound quality. Not dead silent but fairly close. Sadly my disc was a little warped but I can’t tell if it affects sound quality or not. It’s minor so I’m pretty ok with it. Also, I don’t get the “no distortion” comment. Of course there’s distortion, it’s a 1 LP with 12 songs on it. Anyway, I’m so glad to finally own this album!

Mine came with a SIGNED print - and not a printed signature, but a real handwritten one! Anyone else got this?
