2000 records have not same compostion ( petrol ) compared to 80 records that's all, this project is amazing, 99% same than OG sound, I compared OG and RP to my collection, RP has a bit more gain but with correct material, speakers and turnatable, sounds warm and loud, a bit less trebles than OG..

@Funkacise The unreleased tracks were a bonus to the original album, that's all. We kept the pricing of the record very much in line with what single LP reissues will cost you in a shop but added one full LP of unreleased tunes. Netwerk and I didn't think we needed to make another album with the unreleased tracks. Mind blowing that this is an inconvenience..... The point here was to deliver ALL the music that Netwerk did (except the extended 12"s) into one offering with their story. Cool?

The 1984 album "Network - I Need You" is mind-blowing and Ive been patiently waiting for **another** re-release because even the represses are uber expensive !!

**UPDATE** - This record sounds AMAZING, all expectations exceeded !! Full ROBUST frequency response with low "peak volume" thumps the place at a lower volume than most of my other records. Buy this now !

This is an **OFFICIAL STUDIO REMASTER** according to `stillmusic` (who allegedly worked on this project)

So big shoutouts to `stillmusic` & PASTDUE for putting this together. I even grabbed the self-titled Johnny Kemp album to get my hands on his 1986 re-rendition of "Cover Girl". Still incredible but not nearly as good as his work on the 1984. His vocal incantations are not as pronounced everything just flows better on the 1984.

I own the 2008 CD re-master so I can post a comparative review to this release when I get my copy in the mail.

I agree with Myke B. Some great boogie tunes on the first record. Grab it! 😀

Unreleased tracks are clearly in a late 80's vibe, not really like their famous LP, but still funky and good in my opinion. Just not my taste cause it's too synthetic (except the last track "who's gonna know"!). Check bandcamp.
