This was back when MFSL were still doing half speed cuts which are now largely not done by them. This was cut directly from the tape at half speed by Loverde...hence the RML/2 initials

First mofi vinyl I’ve bought and it sure makes a good first impression. Got a perfect opened copy at amoeba Hollywood for 125. Perfect corners and it seems thr person rarely opened the gatefold cause you can hear that new gatefold crunch when opening it. Just mind blowing how clean it is. Thanks to whoever sold this to amoeba :)

My copy is blank where the limited number should be. Bought it when it came out, still sealed in its original poly MFSL style cover. Everything else the same. I can take picture if needed and add to this database entry. Should I do that?

Although I recently paid up for this I have no regrets. The vinyl sounds awesome and fully reveals the gutsy dynamic sounds of their music on this mastering. Even the gatefold cover which is usually vandalized by MOFI by their need to graffiti the top of the sleeve looks tasteful for once. And a nice quality booklet to top it all off. 👊🔥🔥🔥

Edited 3 years agoOne of the best pressings I own. Have had my eye on this one for a while and it most definitely does not disappoint. The dynamics on this LP blow away any other pressing I’ve ever heard. Just to note, mine did come with the booklet like the UK pressing, just with the master recording banner.
-
Anybody else have an off-center pressing? Seems I got one for both this and Surfer Rosa (both MFSL).

Edited 4 years agoMy copy comes with the 16-page booklet that came with the original UK pressing. I don't see it mentioned anywhere in the description. Is this an anomaly? Doesn't seem likely.
