"Can We Kick It" samples the voice from "Are You Down?" by Leroy (in return he sampled it from "UR Live In Utrecht" by Underground Resistance) and replays and samples the melody from "Mosquito" by Maurizio Braccagni. A voice (which in return was sampled from another source) was also sampled from that track; the "ooooh, what a rush!" is sampled from Michael James Hegstrand alias Road Warrior Hawk, a former wrestler.

Back Into Time is in my opinion an underrated classics mash-up. Nowadays all the top (and lesser) DJs are mashing, refixing and what not with the golden oldies, but this one from 1997 does also stand the test of time.
