Quite a lot of surface noise, as comes standard with most picture discs, but the mastering is pretty good. Surface noise only really cuts through in between songs and during quiet parts, which are few and far between on this album. Separation and volume are just as good or a bit better than the pressing from the box set. That’s the only other version I’ve heard on vinyl to compare this to. The disc itself feels very high quality, very heavy. Truly, this album deserves a definitive pressing on 2 LPs. I’d buy this for $20 something long before I’d buy a standard black for $50+ though.
