Think this is a really good pressing, 1200g , ortofon black, sugden A21e ,Harbeth p3esr ,and the soundstage is vast, mids are incredible. If this has been pressed from a digital format then I’ve absolutely no problem with it,smoother than smoothy the silk worms silk pyjamas

My copy sounds fantastic. Played using Technics SL 1200 MK3 Japanese Custom running a Ortofon Concorde Club MK2, Ortofon Concorde Scratch Mk2 through a Rane TTM 56 and Focal Studio Monitors.

Edited one month agoI would NOT say this is a horrible pressing however, it’s not the greatest. I know when I hear an OG pressing of this I’ll be very disappointed though. This could certainly sound much better than it does. I am definitely disappointed in that it doesn’t sound better because it should.
This does NOT sound fantastic. it sounds GOOD. -

This version sucks.I thought i was to blame but then i heard cold fact from light in the attic and i decided to write this.
Stay away. -

Sadly, unlike most comments here, my copy at times has a very tinny twang to it. Some tracks sound like they were recorded in a bathroom.
-
Not sure if it’s analog or not but I don’t particularly care. Sounds awesome. Vinyl is the way to listen to this gem. Archival sleeve, flat as a pancake.
-
These reviews are dumb. The code has absolutely nothing to do with whether they used the master tapes or not.
-
This same release also comes without the hype sticker and card as well. It comes with a poly lined inner sleeve, and the vinyl is a nice weight as well. They did a great job with this reissue!
