I ripped the DVD audio to 24/96 stereo FLAC and play it through the USB port on my new Marantz player. I've heard this album hundreds of times over the last 35 or 40 years (on both vinyl and CD) but I am BLOWN AWAY by the hi-def audio. I'm hearing things there was never a hint of before. Okay, the following is just my opinion, but... anyone who says vinyl sounds better than this needs a good slap upside the head.
