Top notch job by Pressure Sounds on this expanded reissue of WALLS OF JERUSALEM. The music on the second LP is easily as good as the original album, as presented on the first record. This pressing sounds perfectly good to my ears, whether it be the stereo mix of the first LP or the unreleased material. My copy was purchased new and plays nice and clean, with no surface noise of note.

Stone cold classic. I’ve read an interview with Nat Birchall and the og record was among his top 10 favourite albums that influenced him. Had to lay my hand on this straight away and not disappointed at all. Sounds good, quality work gone into it

This is an excellent pressing and presentation of "Walls of Jerusalem" from Pressure Sounds in my opinion! The sound is very clear to my ears, and the extra material is much appreciated. I particularly like the interviews and information on the back of the jacket explaining the history of the album. Highly recommended, even essential reggae listening!

First record (3 stars), it sounds better than what I've expected though even if it doesn't reach the original sound (high & low freq.)
Four stars for the second one with bonus tracks, awesome alternate takes here ! "The Man Who Does The work" is great and sounds nice , thanks to Pressure sounds who dug this !!! -
I've bought the digital version on Bandcamp, so I can't comment on the press quality of the vinyl itself.
Giving it a critical listening with headphones I can say that this sounds a bit better than the previous Yabby You releases on Pressure Sounds...BUT...still not very good.
The first 12 track have been sourced from vinyl and whoever did the restoration work did a really sloppy job. Looking at the frequencies in Audition you can really see that everything above 12k has been heavily filtered (probably to get rid of the tape hiss). There are also countless of clicks left in which I managed to remove without any difficulties...
However, what makes this release still worth buying IMO are the bonus tracks. Quality seems to be okay and the alternate takes of well known songs are really cool.
But if you're looking for best quality try to get a copy of this release: King Tubby Meet Vivian Jackson - King Tubby Meet Vivian Jackson (Yabby You)
