Number 0808 is one of the cleanest, quietest slabs of vinyl I have. Zero dust in the packaging - kudos to the manufacturer.
-
Just listened to my copy #4120, after having it bought nearly 4 years ago. Luckily no noise, nor any cracks or hiss...
Music is the best! -
I've been changing my first two copies with numbers close to 6000 because of lots of noise on A1. Now I got one (number 3436) which is amazing quality. Go for the lower numbers to avoid the extremely noisy error on A1.

This would be an amazing record but there is so much noise - especially in the first song (Sleep Dirt) which is unlistenable. I returned it to the seller who opened and tried another one and they all had the same problem. Sad.

Zappa's site states "Available at your local record store, 4000 numbered copies will be available in the US, and 3500 in Europe". The sticker on the vinyl says 8000. The web says only 3000 available globally. You have to love the inconsistencies of record collecting. But does this mean there are 500 special copies......
