What a fantastic sounding piece of vinyl. This press is what metal should sound like.

I'd like to add my copy to my record list but my double 45rpm version has no matrix or any things at all in the dead wax is its a version which has not been added yet?

I read on the "wiki" that there were actually 15,000 copies of the first run LPs. I know wiki is not always accurate. Would be nice to know for sure how many were actually pressed.

I found mine at a goodwill for $2.50, 6 months ago. No joke. Didn't have the inner sleeve but had original wrap on it, the jacket was in VG condition (no rings) and a light scuff on the record itself but does not effect the quality of the sound. This kinda stuff never happens to me, but that day was my day. 🤘🤘🤘

Does anybody have an extra inner for the '83 pressing they are willing to sell or get rid of? Thank you

seem to have this combo on mine, wondering if would be appropriate to tag to this release, or the other one? https://discogs.mejorespelis.org/release/4365559-Metallica-Kill-Em-All

I bought this 3 years ago for $150.00 because I had FOMO at the time. And am glad I did. I have the real one. No track times. The number of "added to one's collection" number is skewed on this entry.

Cramming almost 27 minutes onto side 1 seems like pushing well past an LP's ability to deliver decent sonics.

One of the best thrash album ever with obvious punk and nwobhm elements and influences. So mature in the bands immaturity era. So unique and so distinctive as Metallica 10/10
