Edited one year agoSound quality is okay. It sounds noticeably compressed, even from the outside of the disc, but I didn’t hear any surface noise and the sides were both well centered; so a good pressing, but not-so-great mastering.

Songs A3 and A4 skip on my copy. The only The only turntable they don't skip on is a vintage Technics SL-QD33R. Audio Technica AT-LPGO And Crosley T400 both skip.

Not grading on the songs quality but the sound quality of my LP is terrible. In understand they wanted an old fashioned sound in the production, but putting a vintage analog effect on a vinyl is kinda weird. Also the bass was very, very problematic, first time I listened to it, I thought my stylus was broken. Le cover is nice, pictures are great and it comes with a digital code to appreciate the songs in their best form... with is digital for this release. Buy it for the visual and listen to the album digitally, the album isn't bad.

Edited 8 months agoReviewing every record in my collection:
LOVE the album, I dont tend to hear Kylie's Full albums because they become exhausting, but with this one i dont have that feeling.
i have the regular black Vinyl and It sounds great, i dont think It ever skips, the Mastering is Ok, Not WOW, but it sounds better than the CD/digital Release -

Completely agree with the assessment below, her finest album since "Fever" (or "Aphrodite" if you are so inclined) and her most cohesive album to date. It's great on vinyl because you literally don't want to skip a single track. I wasn't impressed with the pressing and mine is prone to skipping but I hope someday it's given a heavyweight release.

This is a phenomenal album from Kylie, even if it's quite unconventional for her. Her attempt to bring a country style into her world, as she put it, works pretty well. A couple of songs tend to follow a similar pattern, but the writing is far better than on her last few albums. In the end, I'd say it's as significant a step in her sound as Impossible Princess or Aphrodite.
The vinyl pressing is pretty good, though nothing will save the album's tinny mastering. I'd say it's an intentional artistic choice to make the songs sound a little old-timey. But the harder-hitting songs like "Live a Little" or "Raining Glitter" have a deep bass that sounds much better. -
There is inconsistency in the printed covers for the songwriters of 'LOVE' -- possibly the song was swapped out at the last minute for one with the same name and the credits not updated in all editions?
Deluxe has "Kylie Minogue/Steve McEwan/Sky Adams" where another CD edition has "Kylie Minogue/Mich Hansen/Daniel Heløy Davidsen/Peter Wallevik/Wayne Hector/Autumn Rowe" - some vinyl editions have Minogue/McEwan/Adams.
No clear direction in ASCAP repertory to confirm either one, BMI Repertoire search shows Minogue/McEwan/Adams. -
Best album in years! we must enter this production but it's a more "rockier" "guitaresque" Kylie here... a little like "american life" by Madonna... a grower for sure.... be patient
