Personally think this pressing sounds great. Bob Kulick's under the radar guitar comes through very nicely.

A bit of a dogs dinner really. Dreadfully pressed... non fill galore as per 90% of MPO pressings. Most of it doesnt bother me but when it loudly rips im not 'avin it. 3 attempts and i gave up. Not only that but the remastering which at first i thought was decent is put into stark relief by the far superior MOV version which is also quiet as a mouse to boot. No contest between the two reissues but this often sells for 14 quid and if you can get a rare non fill free one it will do alright but dont hold yer breath lol.

I found there to be almost no difference between this and the original US vinyl- both sounds very good. I think it would take a very close listen to find a meaningful difference between them. This is a great choice to ensure a good condition copy of this great album.

Edited 7 years agoI was hesitant to get this as there were no reviews, but pleasantly surprised by how good this sounds. Quiet vinyl, great dynamics, overall a really wonderful pressing. I did a little reading and found that the remastering of this and a few other LPs were Lou Reed's last project before he died. He did a pretty fucking great job.
