Edited 3 months agoProbably my all-time favorite Real World Records release outside of Peter Gabriel's own catalog. This is an almost other-worldly (at the very least decidedly non-traditional) display of the incredibly vocal talents of Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan. The partnership of Khan and guitarist/producer Michael Brook takes the atmospheric experimentation of their 'Mustt Mustt' (1990) to a whole new level. Five stars aren't enough for this gem.
