Edited 7 years agoTrue rave music - check the b-line on dj's take control...wicked - first heard it at Raindance Jenkins Lane (Indian Summer) Setember 1991 - played by Slipmatt - rocked the place - great set too....Timeless classic!

Edited 10 years agoThis is the original Awesome records release before XL got their mitts on it. Being lucky enough to have heard this as it dropped back when, just the dead wax etchings alone remind of what a special time this was: "CREWS IN THE HOUSE SHOUT TO THE RAINDANCE MASSIVE FAY SLII Strictly for the ravers". In of the UK 'Illegal party scene' (shouts to Maggie!!), this is very much a seminal record. F**k me it was a fun time. Shocked to see this white label not fetching silly money, despite being pressed in large quantities. Still, both tracks pretty much the best from Slipmatt & Lime's 'SL2'...

DJ's Take Control - The debate goes on as to who was first with this track SLII or Reese? The Reese track is not identical but all the same samples are there and in almost the same order. Samples are taken from Nightwriters 'Let the music move you', Vamp along with an incredible breakbeat used on Shut Up And Dance releases.
Way In My Brain (chooon) is the reason I got this release. It was underplayed (at least at the venues I went to) and I only heard it at a Raindance played by Slipmatt in Cambridge. I got this late and thanks to Basement Phil who sold me a personal copy after me tracking down what it was.
