Track 3-14 Everlasting Love (Peter Collins Master Mix) is an underrated gem. Markedly different than all other versions of the track, the mix is much more "beefy", with particular emphasis on guitars, synths and a heavier beat, in addition to a different vocal take.
Track 2-2 Everlasting Love (Julian Mendelsohn Mix) is not that different from the album version, with more emphasis given to the lead vocal on the chorus and a slight difference in drum sound. Shame it wasn't more of a remix, like his work for ABC.
The 808 mix has its merits, but I would have loved to hear a longer, more creative remix featuring the Peter Collins version. -

An important thing with vinyl/cassette back in the day, was that there were definite sides. How I wish "Last Supper / Out Of Thin Air / Guardians Of The Breath / Those Who Move Clouds" would have been sequenced together on one side of this album. That would create a lush ambient art-rock side-long song suite. I have had a love/hate relationship with this release over the years, but seeing the songs together like that makes it the most "grown-up" release yet from Jones at the time. -
The album tracks on CD1 are faster and pitched higher than those on the 2012 remaster. I don't have an original issue CD to compare them to. Is it the case that the songs play at the proper speed on this edition, and they are accidentally slower on the 2012 edition?

Also available numbered in a box as a 3 disc set with remastered editions of 'One to one' and 'In the running' -
This is a wonderful Expanded re-issue!! The way all this kind of reíssues must be done! Good sound quality, master recording quality and absolutely complete. A MUST for any Howard fan. I found no weak points on this one.
