The Killers – Day & Age

can someone really tell me if this is worth or not? so far none of the pressings for this album were good but the very first one in 2008. how this 15th anniversary compare to that? i see no point in buying a vinyl record just for the package if it does not sound good but i really want to have this one.

There looked to be two nearly identical pressings. How is this version different from https://discogs.mejorespelis.org/release/1738686-The-Killers-Day-Age

This record specifically is an enigma to me and I have still learned nothing about it

I ed on this as I have an original US pressing and all the 7" and 12" picture discs that were issued. I also don't care for oversized packaging even though it looks cool. I also can't believe they forgot to add "Tidal Wave" another great B Side from this period.

Bought it in late 2008 as it's my favourite Killers album. The artwork is awesome and the vinyl great. It omits the CD bonus track too which is okay as "Goodnight, Travel Well" end the album on a serious mood which I like.

Pretty dope pressing. The sleeve is quite weird tho. It’s like a book. The pictures inside are sick so it makes up for it haha. Side A has some crackling but I’ll see how it sounds after a wet cleaning. Totally worth 30$

Hot damn this pressing an audiophiles wet dream. Hard to imagine the recent repress would come close to this. Packaging inner sleeves posters etc are top notch in quality. A lot to love with this release. Grab if you can.

This is a very good sounding pressing. Dynamics and instruments separation is much better if you campare to CD or Apple Music.
Cover art is fantastic, highlight of my collection.

Such a great package, ultimately worth the mere $25 I paid for a silver book-bound 2LP. That said, my copy is not a good pressing. The first LP is riddled with noise throughout, especially on side A. The 2nd LP sounds much better and is generally pretty quiet.
