I will it that this pressing sounds much better than the remaster version. I prefer the sound they originally had here. So Good. Love these tracks, It was "Out There" track that kept me listening and turned out to be a fantastic E.P. All around. The Remaster does sound kind of tinny like. I don't know if others have noticed this. That's just my thoughts or opinion. But .. However It was nice they releases few more unreleased mixes :) I do like a different perspective one some of the tracks. -

the first track really sounds like the Midnight Express movie -
The 'more mix' of Try Me is tops. A bit cleaner and dreamier than the original. The vocal seems to stand out more too. Nice work

Repress alert. Just picked up a copy on Juno. Get it before they are gone. -

Edited 4 years agoThere it is: a re-issue of one of the greatest and peculiar house records of the early nineties. Once you put it on your turntable, the music sucks you in. It was hard to pick a best track, because they all stand out on their own (my favorite is What Is The Human Machine?).
Released in 1993, The Works E.P. was an under the radar release during the early nineties. I have always wondered how many copies were pressed originally, because even when the original release could be dug up in stores for 2 EUR, they were rare to find.
For those who, like me, have cherished their copy like an 18-carat gold bar, the time has finally come to say goodbye to exclusivity. A new generation of listeners will now have access to it and enjoy it.
The Works is reborn. Thank you, Kalahari Oyster Cult. -

That A side delivers dancefloor bangers, but that flip side got me all wonky.
