Picked this up for £1 at a charity shop today. Can't believe my luck. Fantastic quiet pressing. No pops or background noise, just crystal clear, wide sound. A joy to listen to. If you see a copy, buy it.

I picked up a copy of this compilation recently in a bulk lot. Like many others, I was blown away with the quality - superb doesn’t do it justice. Could this be THE reference copy of Isaak’s “Wicked Game”..?

What technology does the alleged copy protection use which was available in 1999 ?
About 2 o'clock on the CD is the Compact Disc Digital Audio logo, clearly visible in image #3.
This means the CD must be Red Book compliant which does not include any copy protection.

Beautifuly sounding German pressing and excelent music by Chris Isaak.

On The RTR Turntable today for play-grading and fully agree with comments below; the noise floor, quietness of the pressing leave many other so called audiophile records in it's wake. A stunning example of how it can and should be done. Pressed at ALSDORF.

This pressing is awesome! Rich, dynamic and very musical. Huge soundstage makes you feel the artist is there with you.

Got this super-cheap at a flea market, cleaned it and I am simply blown away by the sound quality of this record! Holy moly, I wish current pressings would sound as dynamic and clear as this one. This is within the top-ten of the best sounding records I own. Get it, you won't regret it.
