Honestly this is a weird tape. It's essentially a megamix of mid/late 1970s rock and soul with some other oddball tracks. There are some funk/disco sections but it's not the entire focus. For example, the cover of "Rock Around The Clock" is very straightforward 1950s rock and roll. And "Preghero" is an Italian language cover of "Stand By Me." In fact, much of the tape is an interpolation of "Stand By Me" through a sort of Tom Jones-esque bravado.
However, "Nata Per Me" is definitely a strange disco/funk tune though worth the price of ission! "Mondo In Mi 7" is a sleeper hit: a slow and long disco jam with Italian mumbling and drenched in effects throughout. And "Ma Che Freddo Stasera (Such A Cold Night Tonight)" is a chill slow tempo funky tune with reverbed strings, horns, etc. (but with a bit too much hard rock guitar for me). Check it out!
