Edited 5 years agoFinest original Oldskool house music. Deep and funky. And it has inspired so much dance music since. The flavours here are just past mid tempo as that was the standard speed for the 1993 house sound. Takes me back to the old Rave era in the UK as there would always be several tents at illegal and underground parties so you could hop from tent to tent depending on what you wanted to dance like. After 4/5 hours of rave it was nice to sweat to a more bouncy house sound. From 89 to 93 was really when the US house vibe started to penetrate into the UK and inspire what came out of the UK. Danny Rampling was one of my favourite DJs who brought this sound alive in London.
