I guess I’m lucky because my copy is almost flawless. Just a few crackles in the beginning of 2B is all I’ve noticed. I’m very happy with this.

Incredible box set. I personally love all of the bonus items and enjoyed taking my time looking through them while listening to the music. The LP itself is high quality but does have minor clicks and pops during quieter moments. The big detriment is that all of the B side singles came warped, it didn’t affect playback but it’s still disappointing. This is likely to how they were stored in the wooden box.

IDK why people are saying this is a good pressing, this pressing is so noisy w/too many clicks pops I literally got refunded for it. Very good quality pressing of the last interesting AFI album (In my opinion). Quiet, flat and nice packaging. Wanted this on LP since it was released, so after missing it originally, this is a nice inexpensive copy. A solid major label debut for the band, after this album, the magic was gone. It was all a bit too sparkly.

Okay this is my first release review. I would say 4.5

I don’t have the greatest set up but to my ears this sounds pretty good.

The first LP definitely has some surface noise and minor little popping noises and came a little dirty (there was some smutz on Side A) and minor scratches that don’t appear to affect sound quality and cleaned up with a little distilled water.

The second LP is basically perfect, very little surface noise, very flat and came much cleaner then the 1st.

Overall I’m super happy to have this album on vinyl for a somewhat reasonable price.

The box set extras a very underwhelming. However, the main vinyl jacket and sound quality make up for that. The included 7 inches are nothing great sound wise, but it’s so nice to have them and the artwork for each one. Overall, buy this cheap if you can find it but don’t break the bank for it

first copy had a big glob of gunk pressed into the grooves, second copy has a locked groove immediately after placing the needle on side A.

fuck this pressing.
