The remixes on this record are so bad, so poorly done. They used a vocal extractor to extract the vocals and reuse them in the "remix". The vocals are extracted in a way that most frequencies got lost and it sounds like a 32kbps mp3 was used. Or even worse. (The Flemming Dalum version). In the Van Edelsteyn Remix it sounds like he sings through a megaphone.
Do yourself a favor and skip this one. I regret that I bought it.

I don’t know why this exists but it’s cute. Very nice and rare picture sleeve only used on the original Italian 7” before.

Wow! Great pressing Sounds much brighter and clear than the 80's pressings.
Who's the dumb-ass who claimed that Picture-discs don't sound goof? Get them out of those stupid PVC sleeves and they will sound and remain good as new.

As fr the picture on this release, to those who wonder - that's the logo of Discomagic Record, as the original first Italian edition from 1983 - it came with a label generic sleeve. Only later after it got to the charts, it was manufactured by other labels and got it's picture sleeve.

Horrible live-trace generated bezier curves (an automated process) with no fine line definition from the original drawing of the wizard. it makes me cringe to see approximated lines and curves from an illustrator filter get used to upscale or recreate images and logos from original pressings for cheaply produced reissues. nice idea, but bad execution. seeing as how common this song is to begin with (you can find it in dollar bins in any country if you dig hard enough) i don't understand why ByN would bother to reissue this one, let alone why anyone would want it.

The quintessential Italo-Disco song. Incredible chords and that great piano rift which is the backbone of the song is amazing. Probably the best of the vocal Italo-Disco tracks for sure along with USSR by Eddy Huntington.

I like this one. there was no picture sleeve on the italian pressing
