Record Label. Design Uni-Groove System - Design Compatible Fidelity - Plays Stereo or Monophonic. Initially released with black background center labels, later version the use white one. Please denote: Black - or - White label version in the release. Note: Design Records (2) front cover logos are obscured by post-production stickers.

In Billboard 25. Jan. 1960 page 4 a report titled 'Mixed Reactions To Compatible Discs' appeared. It is denoted, that this kind of records was announced two weeks ago. Pickwick run a test period for 6 month, selling 5 different titles. ---

Obviously this 5 versions from 1959 are that one with the red bar on top of the front cover. Later versions from 1960 are only stickered Design Records (2) cover versions. Due to the Billboard report the first 20 titles was released in early January. In Billboard 24. Okt. 1960 page 43 Pickwick announces 'Phase II' with the cat#s 1031 to 1051. The ment for the compatible versions stopped in 1961.
