Sheer Sound

Formed by Damon Forbes in 1994 and a part of the independent Sheer Group of companies, the Sheer Sound label concentrated on Afrojazz, Afropop, African-flavoured house music and whatever else would normally fall under the umbrella term "World Music".

They were also the South African distributor for labels such as Gallo Record Company.
