Mediatec

Mediatec is a German manufacturer which pressed CDs starting in the late '90s. Little else is known about this manufacturer other than their name found in the matrix of the CDs produced.
It could have been part of the group of companies owned by Josef Franken (Veo Star, Digi Planet) and was established as Mediatec Service GmbH & Co. Produktions KG.
It also appears that the plant did not implement the IFPI SID Code as their CDs did not contain SID codes in spite of their production of CDs well after the SID code implementation year of 1994.
