      I own their pressing of the Sparks debut LP and it's really solid. In fact, it's pretty great. I take a lot of risks and buy from these so-called "Terrible" labels and usually come away satisfied. If you see a title you like, give it a shot. If you end up hating it, these reissues they do are usually under 20 bucks anyway. Whether or not they are digitally sourced really doesn't matter to me, as long as they sound GOOD.

        Got tricked once by the SAW 2 release. Absolute waste. Only good for display purposes now since the artwork is still great.

          Terrible sound quality pressings, avoid absolutely anything on this label. They are pressed from low res files and sound completely flat and actually destroy your memories of the originals. I will never ever listen to my copy of SAW I might as well throw it out seriously.

            Does anyone have experience with the sound quality on the two "The Sound" LP pressings? They are all over the stores / amazon...

              DON'T BOTHER

              1972 = Horseshit.

              My copy of SAWII by Aphex Twin is garbage. If you find a copy at a shop, just throw it in the bin. They're not worth keeping on hand.

                Bootleg company, or, should be recognized as such.

                  Yeah that's why Warp quickly repressed RDJLP and 'I Care...' by Aphex last Autumn when the 1972 bootlegs (cos they are fucking bootlegs, please, somebody from one of these crooked Warners spin-off/licenced-out-to labels tell us in all sincerity that their entire catalogue isn't one big cynical scam to cash in on people who missed the boat first time round and can nary afford the price tags of the originals) were announced. Plain, 4MWB and these horrible sneaky gits...criminal! AVOID! The artists see nothing which makes me even angrier.

                    These geniuses decided to send me half of "Transient Random Noise Bursts With Random Announcements" and "Mars Audiac Quintet". How the fuck does that happen?
