Gramzapis was one of several plants used by the label Всесоюзная Студия Грамзаписи, whose production was transferred here in 1978.

Московский Опытный Завод «Грамзапись» (translated as Moscow Experimental Plant "Gramzapis") was a Moscow based vinyl (initially) and CD pressing plant owned by label ОАО "Грамзапись". It was the largest producer of pirated discs in the post-Soviet period until it closed in the mid-2000s.
