hey painless. i actually stumbled across that place randomly last time I was in Kyoto. Didn't find too much - probably because you were there first ;) - but picked up a copy of this for 300 yen.

Jetset is also Kyoto, but I've not been there. Do you know them, painless? They're also on Gemm.

Workshop (on Kiyamachi just south of Oike)
Parallax (on Gôkômachi - the first street west of Teramachi, corner Sanjô, sharing the basement with Café Indépendants)
Bootsie's (on Sanjô just west of the bridge, 3rd floor)
Poco Apoco (first street East of Karasuma, a bit south of Sanjô)
Toradora (probably the best shop in Kyoto for vinyl... follow the map)
Joe's Garage (on the north side of Imadegawa around the campus, not far W from Shirakawa)
Mensoul Records (on Higashiôji, NE corner of Kitaôji)

Jet Set is a very nice store indeed; ordered an Ugly Edit from them, 12 euro (incl. shipping from Japan!!!). Record arrived one week later. Astonishing.

yeah good communication and quick delivery although most of the stuff gets stuck in the customs and i always need to pick it up there....
