There is a thread about this already, but it bears the title of the EU directive DAC7 which may not be that informative or ring bells to anyone reading the list of topics. I just wanted to add awareness.
In short, this directive requires market platforms to report earnings for all EU sellers to the respective tax authorities, provided a threshold of 30 sales or 2000€ is ed. This is not a limit for taxation, which is governed by the different member countries' taxation laws.
Discogs have not yet confirmed that they are affected by this directive, and what it would mean. For example, the EU requires that the affected platforms report using unambiguous tax ids, meaning Discogs would need to comply with basic KYC, knowing exactly who is selling and being able to that it actually is them.
Reporting would need to cover sales from 1/1 2023, with the first report due early 2024.

The EU was created by big business to serve the interests of big business. So those selling personal collections built up over decades in many cases will have to pay tax BUT big business - Amazon/Google/investment companies can in tax havens, many of which are Crown Colonies like Bermuda/British Virgin Islands/Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man/Guernsey/Jersey or Luxembourg or the Netherlands (U2) and pay sweet F.A. or very little - Amazon.

We are heading back to the days of the Robber Barons and KIngs who used violence to take money from the peasants to pay for their ego wars and this happened all over Europe. In we had a so called Socialist President a balding twat called Francois Hollande who employed a personal barber to cut what remained of his hair at the expense of the French taxpayer @ €500,000. Bob Marley said " it takes a revolution to make a solution".

Exactly. Yet another money-stealing idea from globalist filth who deserve to be "hanged at Tyburn".

A Chinese balloon just flew over my backyard whilst I was barbequing a nice pork roast and listening to The Rolling stones bootleg from Birmingham Alabama 1994, and I was wearing a 'Biden just tested positive for worst president' tank top (XL).
Should I be worried??? I do have a bomb shelter that was built in 1957 stocked with Mickeys and extra dry Globalist Filth champagne. I kinda hear helicopters above.....
