Every item in a particular seller's inventory has the comment:
"We no longer accept orders on Discogs for this vinyl. You can now purchase it directly on our website with free shipping and secure payment options via PayPal or credit/debit card. Shop here: xxx" -

Selling 'off Discogs' is not allowed, so using the marketplace to another website to buy from is not allowed, whether or not it is a scam or legitimate vendor. -

To be clear, if you're actively selling on Discogs you *can* or link to other sites you're selling on, *as long as your items are priced the same on both sites.* Which is why you will often see links to seller's sites on their profile pages here. -

Well, of course. Discogs let's the big dogs do what they want. Go ahead and try to report them. It does absolutely nothing.
Also, I should have been pedantically clear. Discogs price must be the same *or cheaper*. You just can't undercut Discogs if you're a private seller or small retail store. -

So, in the EU you can link to your offsite store and sell at a lower price? -

Please will you add a link to that exact Discogs rule. I cannot currently see it stated within https://.discogs.mejorespelis.org/hc/en-us/articles/14587233205005-Seller-Policy#requirement

Same as it ever was.
I could just as easily ask you to show me where it says that we can't do that.
Here's just one example:

I'm certain that there was previously wording to the effect that items on Discogs must be listed at 'the same price or cheaper' than in an external link, but a quick squizz at the current policy seems to now bar any external sales links, deeming such as 'fee avoidance'.
"1. Fee Avoidance
#4
Language or links on Profile pages, Sales Listings, and Item Comments that redirect buyers away from Our Service order to a personal, third-party, or other commercial website." -

That seems only to apply once someone has placed an order through the Discogs marketplace. The first clause under 'Fee Avoidance' reads: 'An order placed through Our Service must be completed through Our Service and include an official invoice from Our Service . Fee Avoidance includes, but is not limited to, the following.'
3. Unsolicited ment or Promotion might apply:
'Use of Our Service for the purposes of advertising goods or services offered for sale outside of Our Service ... is prohibited.' -

The EU doesn't dictate where and what you can link to, but they do dictate that a marketplace can not dictate which price you can sell at in other places, as for instance your own website.
