  • Show this post
same issue here, I placed some orders and it went fine, (apart from the fact that payment failed in many of them) but now I cannot place any more orders, tried inspecting the call using browser inspector and it returns HTTP ERROR 422 and the error message reported above, also tried ing , and so far they sent a bogus response like, "Click the checkout button" I assume Discogs is losing lots of orders because of this issue, so maybe it should be in the priority list. Anyone from Discogs here that can help debugging and fixing this?

No... you need to open a service request in order to attract attention from staff.

Or they only like to receive commissions???
I opened a Service Request 6 days ago - I still haven't received any answer to it.

At some point, if this continues, customers will go elsewhere to purchase; I know I did after several attempts. It seems Discogs are not putting resources into keeping this site functional. A problem like this, ignored for too long, will just degrade everything.

Can anyone confirm if they had placed an order successfully over the last few days? I've had a steady flow of incoming orders four days ago and then it all stopped. Is there a way to test if buyers can place an order with me? Is this a country/region-specific issue, or something discogs-wide?

I am hearing those recurring messages about buyers being unable to place an order and frankly it's quite alarming - this whole site is running on those orders, so if there is a problem with placing them, shouldn't this be a 'red alert' for the development team, drop everything and fix this kind of issue?

Also, is this a discogs problem or a paypal problem?

I'm having the same issue too. Placed like 3 orders last night with no issue, and today I can't place a single one. I've tried emptying my cart and putting them back. I've tried different vendors for the same albums. I've tried logging in on PC instead of mobile to see if I could clear the error, nothing's worked.

The site has been practically down for 3 or 4 days.
According to the Service, everything has been fixed, but this is not the case.

I have not been able to place an Order for 4 days now!
I see these stupid messages about some kind of error again and again!
"There was a problem creating your order. Error code: 7ebc6a1c-ed25-408f-a89e-a74c662dc02c"...

I think the reason is due to the incorrect operation of the site in of inventory management for those sellers who the listing from a file. I noticed that it is impossible to place an Order with such sellers.
The Service is almost non-responsive. I received answers from them to previous requests a week later. And the answers were completely inadequate - a suggestion to check some Internet connections.

    I got this answer today:

"Having the two addresses in different countries in your buyer settings may be what's causing the issue here.

Are you able to update your Buyer Settings to have the same Shipping and Billing address? And if so, can you then complete purchases?"

I changed my shipping address to the billing One and was able to make a purchase, with the insane shipping costs to my country.

So, bassicaly they are telling me i'm not allowed to use my mailbox in Miami anymore.

I am one of those sellers witnessing no orders... almost.

I've got to wonder if this is the reason the rest of the people are having problems. The only time I've had buyers complain that they're unable to pay me, is because I don't accept international payments. Buyers that are using a bogus U.S. buying address to place an order, and then finding out they can't pay. Also it could just be the buying address not matching the address on the payment method.

If you are using a PayPal balance that should be sufficient. If I make a PayPal payment I do so with a credit card though. Then that address should match. In the past I've gotten orders where people have moved, and forgotten to update addresses. But that should be for all payments, not just some sellers.

Me too. Since more than two months I cannot place the order. I had 99 positive as buyer. It is really unfair not to allow all customers to use this platform... why are some people blocked and the other can still place orders? and finally, why discogs is not solving the issue?

what country are you in? Some are blocked.
    baldmama11
I had 99 positive as buyer
99.1% but if you cannot buy from certain sellers, then ask them to temporarily change their Minimum Buyer Rating setting.

But it really helps if you pay for the orders you place. That is a lot of negative NPB you have.
