Julian Cottrell

London photographer and winner of 1977 Gold Award for Gordon’s Gin commercial at Cannes Film Festival of Advertising. Cottrell studied photography at Ealing College and his talents were nurtured as Assistant to both Lester Bookbinder during the 1960s.

Cottrell then opened his own London studio and was involved in various prestigious photographic campaigns for Vogue and Harpers magazines, as well as Ad Agency commissions. He also gained an award for the Most Outstanding Cinema Commercial: Schweppes, from the Creative Club of Belgium.
