Greek pop, folk, rock, laiko composer, singer, guitar player, born in Piraeus on 2nd of April 1953 and raised in Kaminia.
He was also a carpenter.
Married two times: 1) Μαρία Διαμαντή Πατέρα that gave him a son: Άρη Ξυλά and 2) Σοφία in 2000.

He started to lean guitar at the age of 12 with a handmade guitar.
In 1970 he started to play lave with small rock bands and created 3 bands: «Mirabilis Zalapa», «What a pity» and «Πρόκες»
In 1972 Βλάσσης Μπονάτσος discovered him at club «Hobby» in Πλατεία Αμερικής and invided him to play with [Invalid Artist]

In 1992 Μου Θυμίζεις Τη Μάνα Μου became platinum with over 125.000 sales.

Died from cancer in Athens, on the 10th of November 2021.
